Short Bio

Chet Hunter Pancake (1966) is an award-winning Director, Writer, Film, Video, New Media, and Sound Artist.

He has exhibited nationally and internationally at venues such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA,) Royal Ontario Museum, Mexican Film Institute, Frameline Film Festival, & Shanghai Conservatory, Shanghai, PRC.

His work has been broadcast or streamed on platforms such as Apple+, Roku, MUBI, PBS.org, Ovid.tv, Sundance Channel, FreeSpeech Television.

He resides in Philadelphia, PA with his son and dog Lucy. He is an Associate Professor teaching film, video, and new media courses at Temple University. He is the current Chair of Film and Media Arts.
